Now that you've all got your boats packed up ready, why not come to the Hoo Freezer on the Medway tomorrow? They've shelved the Mickey-Mouse lapping courses and todays Practice Race was a nine-miler downriver and back.

More details here: http://www.wilsoniansc.org.uk/News.htm#Freezer09news

One thing I heard they were planning to change overnight was the starting order - that is, the slow fleet will probably start before the fast fleet to ensure everyone gets back before the tide goes out at Hoo! But actually, you'll have more than three hours, which should be plenty - the target for the race will be appreciably shorter than that in this weather.

That said, it was sunny here today!:

The John Merricks Tiger Trophy has been re scheduled for the SUMMER - 11th & 12th July. Interesting to see if it is as well supported in warm weather.

It is seriously icey up here. The roads are really bad aparently. It was -5 when I went to bed at about 11:15 last night. Clear skies and no snow though

I think you should maybe let the child out, it's getting quite cold outside...
