Outbreaks of snow, heavy at times, are expected during Thursday night and into Friday morning, giving significant accumulations in places. Between 2 to 5 cm are expected and up to 10 cm is possible locally on higher ground.


Should be able to get there.Saturday and the sailing looks good.

Sunday - err not so good.

Servicing the trailer this weekend.....
Like some other things - sailing is more enjoyable when you do it with someone else

Looked again on metoffice and it looks like a goer - but at the moment conditions here in middle England are "variable" within a few miles.

Good luck to those going.

I am 50 miles south and it has been snowing heavily for the last two hours....

We have skis and a snowboard but the only slopes around these flatlands are the slip roads onto the A14......

......and we haven't yet unpacked the power kite....
the same, but different...
