Yes we could do boots too! I usually don't have a problem, gill 5mm flexors and magic marine metalite socks. I always get cold hands, I have tried builders gloves with latex underneath, and gill extreme gloves (yellow ones)

Put entry in now.

I will be wearing:

Gill drysuit (with layers underneath - i use running thermals)

Shooting socks also underneath, keep feet so warm!

Either gill extreme gloves or the showa thermal ones.. not actually tried the showa ones yet..

gill wetsuit trapeze boots

I will be wearing the showa thermal gloves, my musto fleece balaclava (bright pink) and my gill trapeze boots.  If I am wearing a drysuit then I will wear ski socks, if I am brave/foolish and go for the wetsuit option I will try out my new chicken power hot socks and poly pro stuff.
the same, but different...

yey i want atleast 15 knots. will give a chance for all the assy boats to do what they need to do. and get clear air. if it is a drifter its so hard to get through the sh*t.

Good luck to those that are going, but rather you than me!!

There's no way that wind guru forecast would tempt me to get the boat out of the garage where it lives in the winter.

With more snow forecast for Friday, Saturday and Sunday, wonder how many boats will make it up there? lots of wind and very cold, but the roads may be a little bad....

All I have a quick question that proberbly deserves another thread but never mind.  I am sailing with the mrs this weekend at the tiger but she is worried about her feet getting to cold. She has a drysuit and wetsuit socks and all but still seems to get cold feet really badly. Any suggestions??

Rooster hot socks worked a dream this weekend.  Had them with gill trap boots and feet were very toastie.  If she's got a drysuit, maybe add ski socks as well, apprently they work well.
