Was out this afternoon crewing/helming our new member of the family, my dad's GP14. First race was nicely windy, had some good close reaches with the kite up the whole lake, then in the 2nd race, obviously due to me being at the helm... the wind died off. A very long, cold race ended up with sailing in the dark and not being able to see the finish line!

The zhik top similar to the gill one is really good under a wet suit.

yup got one of them, its a year old now and i think its getting a little worn. I've patched the knees with some old wetsuit and black witch wetsuit glue (really good stuff) which seems to be working ok but it was my arms which were coldest.

There must be some thermal base layers or something you can get for going under a wetsuit, anyone heard of anything?

If you can't carry it, don't sail it!
