Any musicans on the forum?

I play Trumpet in Orchestra(s) and am grade 8, but prefer to play Jazz,

also play piano grade 5, I can also play percussion a bit, but don't fit in
with the other percussionists(?) as I seem to be able to play at the
same tempo for more than 4 bars

	One thing I have always fancied, but never got round to, was having some music playing when I sailed. Easier these days with waterproof cases for MP3 players (Aquapac and others do them). Athletes in other disciplines use music to relax (or distract) their conscious mind, so the subconscious can control their body (it does a better job). Might help in racing...perhaps when coming up to a hairy gybe mark?! However, I'd rather have some heavy rock blasting out loud, than earphones. Great fun....except for those around me!
