Syndicate for Delphia 37

I guess I could be  being a bit naive here (it's happened before !).  I think that the contract will be quite specific/severe on the sort of behaviour mentioned above.  Sanctions could include forfeiture of future use of the boat/a fine to be paid either at the time or when the boat is eventually sold.  I realise that sharing with other people isn't ideal but it's the only way I'm going to sail a 37 foot yacht! (other than chartering of course - which I could consider)

I think that's right.  Even when I've owned a boat with my Brother you can have those kind of disputes!  My plan was to have all maintenance etc. paid for rather than doing DIY (that's part of the attraction for me!).  Thanks for your interest/advice.

I appreciate the comment, but with 3 small children and a full-time job I'm lucky if I go sailing (on the sea) twice a year!  I've got some gravel pits near me where I can go dinghy sailing more often.  I think you're correct in saying that a 10th is about the minimum size that is really practical - below that is just for occasional interest.

I am trying to set up a syndicate to purchase a brand new Delphia 37 (total cost approx. 80,000).  10th shares available or would even consider 50ths (if you're really short of time/money and don't mind possibly having to sail in the Winter!)  Cost for a 10th (obviously) would be 8,000.  To be based South Coast marina, e.g. Gosport/Portsmouth.  Link to full article:

The Delphia 37 is on show at this year's Southampton show.  Any interest in this/comment on the boat chosen?
