It's a good film but it wasn't a bond film.
NO gadgets NO real evil plots or giant super weapons the car was a KA! he didn't get with the main girl No awful puns no rediculous gunfights |

The written story of Q O S has Bond as someone who is listening to a story about other people. The film story has nothing to do with the written one. At least Casino Royal used most of Fleming's book. I'm with Jack as I think OMHSS is a splendid book and film.

It was a good film, but I couldnt really explain the plot to you, I was somewhat lost!
The action is great...but its too damn fast to see what happens sometimes. E.G. In a lift, Bond escapes from 4 henchmen....but I couldnt see how, as it was over in 2 seconds. At least the product placement was quite as blatant as the last film. I still say go see it. |

Its finally being a James Bond spy film rather than some rediculous action flick with "BOND" slapped on it to get a quick few quid.
You cant complain about a spy film being more like a spy film and not a generic list of explosions with a bit of tiresome sexual inuendo thrown in there. |

or more emotion and less cheese... To me the production company is rebuilding the Bond character / franchise from what had become some sort of Hi-Tec Carry-On movie. But there again I am a big fan of 'On Her Majesties Secret Service', with George Lazenby. |

Err.... it's you. Apart from a slightly strange use of Hydgrogen at the end, it's one of the best acted, best filmed BOND films ever. I'd go as far as to say my favorite. |

its a good film, but a crap "BOND FILM", there is a difference, and they seemed to have missed the plot with this one. Bourne has been done (however close to the original book this film may be, Bond on screen should stick to what he is good at!

I saw it on Friday and agree that it doesn't have the cars/gadgets the others had.
If you havent seen it, wait till it comes out on DVD as I need to see it again to understand it more. |
