Yes you did. The camels, palm trees and Lawrence of Arabia type of location is "desert". The ice-cream, custard, strawberries and loads of chocolate (maybe not all at once) is "dessert". |

no idea how its spelt. And yes I did know Dubai is pretty much surrounded by them. dont really bother looking out much if its just somewere im transiting through, just try and get awake enough to find the next gate and then go back to sleep. For Bejing to get sandstorms it needs the wind out of one direction for a while and I think that is only the prevailing wind for a couple of months or something. Wasnt paying that much atention cos I was only there for a week so I wasnt that bothered about what the wether was going to be like in 2 months time. It did snow when we were on the great wall of china though |
