I have to admit liking the Vago. It seems like the perfect solution, sail it like a Sunday driver, or cane the pants of it, all from the same rig... The vario seems to do the same thing, but the Vago looks like it has the edge. I see topper have a new 'Vibe', and their first meet is at the local club...might be the way to go... |

I definatly wouldn't say a phantom is sedate, 16 stone guy at my club finds it a challenge in anything above a f3 and in less it is comfortable. |

The vario may well be a good option. Its a single handed boat but you can take out your other half and let her do the kite. It will certainly hold your weight as the main can produce quite a lot of power going upwind in a breeze. And its by no means a super speedy boat so it wont scare your lady.

Phantom looks a bit sedate, finn a bit heavy? I want to be able to lug this around easily and be really easy to rig...(if its simple enough she can sail it..) |
