Well I think it's safe to say that any discussion henceforth on the subject will be a fairly intense affair. I can probably keep it going for several years in this house.  I will also do laminates of the diagrams for the sailing club, which I'm sure the girls will appreciate.

Eventually someone came back and rescued me with a shrimping net !! Until then I just stayed very still so I didn't sink.

there wasn't really much of an opinion in the facts though (or am i just being stupid here in not seeing it) despite the measure of , typically male, humor all it was was facts

this is going to sound like a lame retaliation now but it really isnt

anything to add BnS?

I should imagine BnS is revving up her engines as we speak.  But in a non-relational way of course.

Well TT, that is a truely epic post. Just had myself and all the engineering students in rolling laughter sat in uni. I don't, in fact, think the post should be seen simply as a comical post as it really does explore some very serious issues in the man vs. woman debate.

If we could get a womans point of view that would be brilliant. Either an interpretation of the FACTS that TT has mentioned from a female perspective, or maybe a retaliation slating the views...

I've tested this theory (admitedly not intentionally) and it depends on the quicksand. In some types you can just stay really still and then you won't sink.

I'm loath to steer the thread away from TTs excellent peice of congitive psychology but this actually proves my fact.  Its the same as the diffrence in 'bob' you'll experience compared to jumping or lowering yourself slowly into a swimming pool. Or if already floating when you move you tend to 'bob' up or down.

ps. Does this mean you were a floater

I might be sailing it, but it's still sh**e!

Wow, turnturtle, that was an amazing piece of reasoning - I would ask for a female response, but according to Turnturtle, it will be too tied up with emotions to make any sense...
