Can a Cherub ever truly be considered as finished? |

very true. well that ios what the winter is used for in the cherub world. they seem to destroy a perfectly good boat and change it a tini bit.
but hoprfully the boat on the cherub stand will look cool

There was reference to 20 stone in an Osprey in an earlier post. In 1986 there were 76 Boats at our Nationals and it blew Force 6 all week. The fourth boat overall was driven by a team with an all up weight of 19 Stone. Yes Ospreys take Big boys but are not solely for big boys Nick J

Went out in my new Mk IV Osprey on Saturday (it was delivered late Friday). How nice to get a new boat that you can sail immediately without having to sort out miriad strings and things first. A really Good Effort by Hartley Laminates and Tim Rush. Very nice it was too. Winds 12-15 mph Saturday and 10-12 Sunday, pretty cold but sunny, nice little chop and some salty spray, aah that's the life! Boat seemed responsive, and quick to accelerate. Looking forward to trying it against other Ospreys soon... Will |

I did try suggesting they built a daggerboard on the stand as a demonstration, and even offered my half built foam blank and a boat to put it on when it was finished but they were having none of it |

Whats going on ? From what I've read, the builders have resigned, the class secretary has resigned, a MK IV has been sent back to the builders and the talk is that a MKIV does not measure without class rules dispensation. Shame, as the boat looks great. |
