Henri Lloyd is the way forward. I had my first one for 4yrs, sailed with it almost every week, and I only replaced (with another Henri Lloyd) because I had outgrown it, not because it was worn out.

just bought the new rooster dry top and it is made out of some very durable material, i cant see that wearing through anytime in the near future, but then there is the downside of the rooster 'uniform that seems to have taken over the laser class and is spreading quickly, dont get me wrong it seems like quality gear but EVERY! has it! lol

that's because its really light warm and durable. and by the standards of its compeditors quite cheap. i'd agree with the rooster recomendations. their stuff is really hard wearing and comfortable to sail in
