GBP = Great British Pound a.k.a. £ Actually to normalise (i.e. give it a sensible range) it it needs to be; Rick Index = 10,000,000/(Price New * PY) The Rick Index for the MPS is = 1.523 I wonder what other boats would be ... Rick |

I think the rick index is flawed ... too heavily dominated by price rather that price AND performance. That Tera boat would come out at about 5.9 assuming it was as fast as an Oppie ... Perhaps a more complex formula is required ... Rick

may be you should look at more factors than py like wot goes into py ie weight, length, beam, sail area etc |

I think a Cherub is about 1.81. This is based on a guesstimated PY of 920 (about right I think)
