Olympic Classes

Yes Tae Kwon Do was another Olympic dream that did not happen.......  Whilst trying a few times recently to get back into the sport after a couple of years off, my body does not agree and going to work with a busted face is not a welcome thing.

However, the use of or threatened use of it is not warranted and very childish.....  And if I did I may get may a$$ kicked

All is good between both Bumble and I and there is no ill feelings.  We have been speeking off thread and she is all apples .

Mike, as far as Ice Sailing..........  I think you are on to something.  I am sure an audiance would find that exciting, maybe scarry.

maybe we just have model yacht racing in the Olympis instead. THen the competitors are all on shore, you could even use the olympic pool with fans . Or have in-door windsurfing.At last it would be fun , in the olympic pool etc. Then there is nearly no cost. Just like watching the Half Pipe in the Winter Olympics.

actualy model yacht racing is quite a bit more expensive than you'd think and im sure if it was in the olympics it would only get more expensive. i got a cheap kit model yacht 2 years ago to sail when i was dragged off on the cruiser with parents and even a cheap kit cost £200 or something, i could get a new feva kite for that. bigger more competitive model yachts can cost £2000 so if you stuck something like that in the olympics, with development of lighter servos and better rigs etc i reckon you could end up with someting a meter long costing 4-5 grand.

 

maybe im exagerating a bit on development costs but it is ludicrously expensive for 1 metre of boat.

pricing boats by the metre. this sounds like a good idea.
