Shadow

I was sailing at my club at the weekend and they always have quite a few cats out.  This time there was a catamaran called a Shadow.  It looks like a singlehanded version of a Spitfire.  Has anyone else seen this boat and does anyone know anything about it - are they any more being sailed?   They look an immense boat to sail and was really fast around the course.

Shadow is a cracking boat (I sail an inter 17 which has similar performance, slightly slower upwind in the light stuff, but quicker downwind, and usually quicker when the wind comes up). 

Small light boat with a small kite (10sqm); They sail off the SCHRS of 107 which is 732 portsmouth handicap).  Made by Stealth marine; not as forgiving as the Inter as they have a LOT less volume up front !!!!

I've sailed one before. They're probably the most light and repsonsive cat I've ever sailed. And also really well behaved, to launch the kite I let go of everything, and she still carried on in a straight line. (Try doing that in a Cherub) The kite seemed pretty seriously under-sized tho, and I felt like I was being forced really high downwind.

I think that Digby Fox bloke, and Tim someone from Grafham tried to sail them all the way round Ireland. I don't think they made it though.
