Bite the bullet and make the jump - yes it will cost you more to buy but the boats hold there value very well. Dan Vincent has just brought one so you'll have a chance to turn over and old 600 friend.

Personally it doesnt bother me when I buy regarding cold weather as I sail all year round anyway.  However I am more likely to buy at the end of the season because I know that prices are reduced then.

I however am the exception to the rule; boat prices are deflated at this time of year and demand is lower so it is not the greatest time to sell. The best time to sell is probably february - march onwards as this is when demand is highest (at the start of the season).
