I wasn't really saying that 80KG was too heavy to be practical - more that it is heavier than it should be to go as fast as it looks....



I suppose we don't really know if the quoted 80kg is bare hull, or rig and foils too...

I read that as 80kg sailing weight - same as the MPS.....

Can you imagine dragging a 16 foot 80 kg hull up a slip way by yourself, especially when its all up sailing weight will be much heavier, after a hard days sailing? Would be a nightmare . Would be interesting if they did make it a double hander with a high aspect main sail and no jib. Can't see her fairing well agasinst the MPS comercially as it stands.

SA threads seem to suggest it's going to be similarly priced to the musto/700- can't see how that will be feasible once you pay gordon...

remains to be seen if it's just a flash in the pan compared to the other two principal classes that are building momentum.


I have no idea how they can think that will be built for the MPS price ... it's too big for a single hander - I bet they do a 2 person version.
