Um, sorry to break your moaning about british weather, but we had a force 6/ gusts of force 8 at chew twice fairly recently and it was hairy as hell!!!!! |

Most places I've been sailing have had much better wind than last
year... I think there's only been one regatta I've been at that's had
races cancelled due to light wind, there were 3 or 4 last season. Where
I work's been better as well, we've had some really light days but we
always do. I sailed at Bough Beech a few months ago and it was
seriously windy!

I was down at Bough Beech for the Hoad Shield regatta, the big one that
Sevenoaks and Tonbridge host and we always get caned in.. it's a school
team racing thing, not sure how much the other club members know about
it! I wear shorts most of the year round as well, just sometimes (like
saturday!) they're hidden under a drysuit
