True, true. This is why, in a few weeks, I'll be collecting a sail, taking it myself to the guy who is putting sone Vinyls on it, and then returning home. (A: so it doesnt get lost/damaged on the way, and b) so I make sure stickers and sail numbering dont collide! ) |

Ah, Businesses they seem to be able to deal with. But because they're cheap, a lot of web stores seem to use them. And they are utterly rubbish when it comes to home delivery. Rage inducingly bad. With depots that are always really hard to get to, especially without a car.

Nothing but good for me ... But hey, I have 2 business accounts with them. Only problem I had was when they tried delivering a package 2 days running while I was on my lunch break. Doesn't really work if theres noone here. One quick call cleared it all up. |

City Link make me swear. A lot. I've had so many bad experiences with them. |

I received one in a lovely big cardboard tube once.
I sent a Finn sail to Norths for repair flaked then rolled along the length to make a more 'normal' package, but I suppose it depends on the nature of the cloth if you would want to do that. It came back beautifully flaked and folded in a similar but much more impressive fashion. Ultimately the postage there and back cost me the same as the repair. |

I sent a Kestrel Main and Jib via Royal Mail and it cost £18. We charged £20 on ebay the other £2 was used for recycled bublewrap paper stuff and tape! So it is possible but just wrap carefully! |
