Dear Dave, Whilst attempting to sail at the weekend, I hit a glancing blow on the ruins of a cottage. Would a full frontal attack on Southern Water be out of the question do you think? (Also, if anybody is looking to unload any winches I can probably put you in touch with some potential clients |

And it is all our pioneering engineering that made Austin / British Leyland / Rover / Morris / Wolesly / MG / Hillman / Triumph so much better, more loved, better quality and longer lasting than VW, BMW, Mercedes etc... Actually the MPS is a fantastic boat because it is the spiritual son of the Contender which was at its creation the singlehanded FD. The RS700 lacks the same quality heritage... |

Not quite that simple I'm afraid! although you are on the right tracks. Whilst I believe that the rs700 was indeed designed in a wine bar in Guildford I have it from a reliable source that they ( the designers) aimed it at the Babysham botty boys. Whilst there are a lot of monkeys up t' North they are far to busy walking up steep hills with loaves of brown bread under their arms to have a sailboat specifically designed for them. There is however no doubt that the MPS is designed for real men. The MPS guru used to sail a Finn which as everybody knows is a real mans boat. I think that we really need to wait for the Tide Ride at Hayling when they will be going head to head. My money is on the MPS Glad to have cleared that up for you. |
