Taken around 1969/1970 this photo shows how the 50s Merlins of 4ft 7ins beam had evolved into the 6ft 8ins in that time. |

The sad thing is that I can name all of the dinghies on the cover. How many can you name (without looking them up)? Score as follows from left to right: 1) - 2 points 2) - 1 point 3) - 1 point 4) - 5 points, plus 5 bonus points if you have seen one sailing. Edited by JohnW |

I'm not old enough (i'd have been about 5 at the time) to have seen No4 sailing, but I've seen pics, and it was certainly a good "thinking out of the box" experiment. Won't name it, though!
