We are all so sad to hear the shock news today. Sailing has lost a great man with so much passion for the sport who always had a smile.

All our thoughts are with his family, friends and everyone at Ovington Boats.

Tragic. He was a wonderful person and we were very shocked and
saddened when we heard of his loss this morning. We will especially miss
his smile, his enthusiasm and his bounce.

Heartfelt sympathies to all of those whose lives he touched.

If you're not smiling, do something about it :o)

Yes it is indeed a sad day for the sport, Dave Ovington was one of the most incredible boat designers and one of the main developers of high performance craft.
He certainly achieved a hell of a lot for the sport over the years and I hope this is what all of us will remember him for.
Any one in need of quality carbon fibre work (tillers etc) at decent prices!
