Elapsed Time Entry Questions

Newbie struggling.
Lengthy series, multiple weeks, for dinghies under DPN. All good. High point scoring with lots of discards.
What's the correct format to enter times minutes:seconds?
I use the sail number wizard with helm name since there is a lot of swapping of club boats. When I select the skipper name it defaults to "Place". It will allow 21.34 as a place?? but then won't score. Is there a way to make it default to Elapsed Time?

	pretty sure there is no default, would be a nice feature though as having to click the elapsed time box every boat for every weekend gets tiring fast Times can be typed in multiple ways but i find this the easiest; 01.19.01 HH.MM.SS 10.24 MM.SS 3600 SSSS Your best bet is to use the yahoo group to contact the developers http://groups.yahoo.com/groups/sailwave

	Edit/Edit Race -> dialogue select required race - > further dialogue starts tab/select start/edit button Look for "finishes will be recorded as" choices places/elapsed time/finish time/code. Edited by JimC - 19 Jul 19 at 8:19pm

	Yes it sticks. Much faster. I've entered the entire Wednesday series so far this year three times now! Can I publish Corrected times?
