Anyone actually sailed a sunfish? They are horrible, sailed one on holiday once, might have just been that it was an old one but the boom was so low and it was when I was short..

I found the permanently bent aluminium mast the oddest bit! I expected fibreglass. Apparently it fits inside the boat when derigged.

Some good ideas on the boat - perhaps a little too cunning?

The 'wheelbarrow' method of moving it was quite good I thought. The sales guy assured me the wheel could cope with shingle. But it would need an adult to lift it, not a child.

I read that you could put an engine on in, would probably sink the stern!!

Oh and the race sail is 5.3mtr similar to the Laser Radial!!!

No, they sell a launching trolley also, so you have a choice - wheel or trolley.

So you have to capsize and reattach the wheel when you come back in

Popped onto the stand yesterday and had a chat and a look. Asked about wheel and it is removeable and can be replaced by a blanking plate (which is what you would have on the 'race' version). Also you can both row it and put an engine on the back - great for light wind days!

Mrs Webmuppet has claimed the Topper for herself ! Littl'un is still too light for it, however she's noticed that Minorca Sailing have now got some Terras and she want to have a go in one when we go there later in the year  Thumbs Up

Cheers,

A brochure, you can do better than that, get a Laser Bug t-shirt (free) and also a goody bag including a poster (i think)!!!

As for the Tera, they are a fantastic boat to sail for adults and kids or both. There is room for both but they are more a boat to teach them inn. If your on a lake, then she;ll no doubt be really happy in one and you can reef them too.

The Q'Ba is basically a Pico, didnt really study it for ages but it doesn;t have the bow section for the kids to sit in, but it does have a retractable painter!

Take a look, they are all next to each other which is cool.
