Anyone know what is going on here. The T overtakes the 18 and then the Vx40 overtakes the T (except once) and then they all appear to reset and the overtaking happens again. Were the T and VX constantly going the worong way and so letting the 18 catch up or were they "just playing" with the 18 and letting them catch up?

Reading on Sailing Anarchy, it was a 'staged' corperate event type race. No real winners, just comparing the sppeds of the boats. If one (mainly the VX40) pulled ahead, it'd slow down to keep the other near so to increase the spectacle of the 'race' just thought it was interesting to see the speed comparisons, and how balls out the 18 is compared to the VX40 crew who could frankly be sipping G&T's whilst travelling faster. |

Ahh, OK, well I suppose the VX40 did not need to try. Listening to the sound, when onboard with the VX is sounds like there is a novice on the helm. While sailing downhill with the kite you can constantly hear "up a bit, bear off a bit" etc. Anyone want to lend me the momey to buy a Vx40? |

that is rapid. would love to sail one of those, not got the money, conditions at the club or the 3years it takes to sails them properly. look so good on the foils though |

It's was crazy watching them at the nationals zipping up and down, all over the place! Even better watching one of them snap a mast when trying to show off a bit
