The sailors don't have to just be crazy but also loaded !

The SIs said only boats with an official PY this year, which neither the Cherub nor the Foil Moth have, so that probably explains the ineligibility.

Not that easy when you dont do that much trapezing to start with . and then have the big gap between hull and racks to deal with ...

While trying to play that kite .. which even you admitted is quite large!!

James stop making excuses !!! the gap was not at all big
i blame my crew for today...

So, how did the "obvious unfair handicap" boats fare at the BM? I've just averages out the finishing places for all classes.. There were 4 classes that had an average finishing position a good bit ahead of the others. Anyone care to name them without doing the sums?

Ha!

I blame the helm.

All those capsises!

And yes, The gap is more than big enough when there is no progrip *anywhere* on that hull, the kickbars are all sippy, and your landing on slippy aluminium .. wrapped with thing string .. ( so still huge slippy bits! )

Painful boat. EOD!

( George - Why didn't you race? )

I did but my boat has some serious leaky issues which caused it to stall through the tacks, which then led to my boat being very arse heavy and capsizing a lot. Consequently i snapped my tiller extension. which is very annoying.

I14 is a pretty unfair PY... Pretty sure non of the more modern ones actually sail to it, they sail over it (as in they are faster, (up? down?) they should be down in number... )
