Very good! We were going to offer a free T shirt with every H2, but maybe we could run to a free H2 Owners Association yellow jacket?

IGRF, so you were the guy with the silly questions! If I had known it was you I might have trodden on you.
You are right, I exaggerated my weight by rounding up to the nearest 10kg: I actually weigh 76kg (including the yellow jacket).
Anyway, I take the faint praise from you as a sign that maybe you think we have done a few things right with the H2. Thanks very much for that.
P.S. The bailers are staying.

The slow boat racing, past the first five minutes of crash bang, is far more interesting to watch than the corner bashing classes.

There are cures these days, Doug.H, mental health issues are dealt with in a much more open manner, do you want to tell the group a bit more about your problem? How long have you had this Finn fantasy? Let me suggest an exercise you can do at home... Get yourself a big wet Cod, sit on the toilet, stand up, sit down, flush, hit yourself with the Cod - repeat until you fall over with fatigue. Then to rest, tear up a fifty pound note, repeat the cycle several times. You can thank me when you're cured.

Having sailed an 800, 600, 400, 4000 and musto skiff, the only boat I'd be desperate to sail and race is the Finn.  The main boat I want to see at the olympics is the finn.  I guess I must be out of touch with the sport.  Haven't even reached 30 yet and I'm already relegated as old and out of touch...... never saw that coming.

Moth not a good choice as it's not one design.... I guess they could hold trials to pick one... Actually, I don't think the cyclists use one design bikes... so maybe this is a spurious argument...

Should the lightweight / heavyweight split  (Laser / Finn) still exist? Or would a single weight adjusted class be better?...

Where do those of a more female persuasion fit in?  Should they be separated, or should all boats be sailable by all?

It's a minefield!! Big smile
