Good news for the British of course is that those batches are in foreign places!

Possibly.

Dont forget RS hulls are built in Thailand and shipped so a 'poorly packed' container load could end up anywhere.

To be fair though The car you buy new will almost certainly have had some touching up and fettling done before you take delivery due to transit damage. My dad took delivery of a VW in 2007 and it had bare metal exposed on one of the doors where they had started to repair something but never actually finished it.

No answer will ever satisfy conspiracy theorists.

I seem to recall it was something like 1100-1300. Something like that ...

We where trying to be proactive to help them, as they had transport damage within a couple of containers and the transom seams got damaged due to error in our packing at our end and our fault, all very cosmetic. Don't quite understand how it a managed to get on You tube, but it did.
We have now delivered over 250 boats with a further 400 on order rising weekly.. Quality has always been very much on our mind and practiced through all the processes of the aero build,  also supporting our dealers with correct information, help and support is also essential and something we strive to do.

Thanks for the clarification. The video referenced quite a wide range of HIN numbers, why was this necessary if it was just for a couple of deliveries?

Check out my 'sight lines' on any photo of my old boat- they were made from Kevlar sail repair tape, excellent for holding down flaking gel coat. You want more examples, shall I name the hulls I know which were replaced under warranty, or shall we leave it there? I could also disclose how my deck wasn't sitting flush and creaked as soon as it loaded up, eventually cracking in less than a year - but I'll stick with the programme, it was made of carbon, was an optional upgrade and it looks really cool...

TT's inference was that there was some sort of 'issue' my point is that I am not aware that such a thing exists at all, even if he would like it to. The three 100's  at our club are early boats and covers aside look very good. They haven't had any hull issues as I know the sailors well. When they demoed the aero at the club, we had a lot of 'longevity' questions and the 100 and 300 (as well as the 600) were stated as the construction as they had such a long life.

Seems a bit early to be making claims for exceptional longevity for the 100 unless your comparison point is polyester/chopped strand crap, in which case the only response would be 'and I should b****y well hope so too...
