So is this a weak point then??

A handy guide for owners and that's the conclusion you came too?
I had to do this to my 400 a few years ago when it got rammed. Not a hard job at the time but even easier with hints like that vid

Saw a smash between a zero and an aero a couple of weekends ago.  On the hull deck join.  Given all the speculation about light boats it was interesting to see the result.  Not much damage to either.  Bodes well.

That's a lot of boats with a manufacturing defect ... I wonder how many other issues will surface?

Was it rushed to market to compete with the zero?

Can't see it? Has it been removed? What was the issue?

Good try chaps, but all boats need repair programmes as accidents happen.

RS aeros have been shore dumped, jumped on and roughed up by plenty of big lads.

Tough as nails.

Plenty of other companies new boats have seen lots of breakages., but the aeros so far just have not and some are being worked very very hard.

Lets not forget they are foam epoxy with plenty of carbon bracing. Even stronger build than RS100's and 300's. both of which have exceptional longevity.

But whys has it been removed Simon? I suspect there is nothing in it at all, but why make a video repairing a new boat?  If it was a repair programme why take it down?  It's not a new repair technique dinghy repairers have been repairing hull deck joins like that for years.  It's very bizarre rs allowing that to be posted on their own YouTube page. I just don't understand why they did it?

Looked to me like they were fixing unsailed stock boats in the video.

They were not rigged and looked to be in a factory.

The video also listed a range of HIN numbers, so is it only hulls in that HIN number range that have accidents?
