Come on the rest of you, call it a day, we don't need a decent company that still actively produces racing products rather than washing up bowls bashed to the point they give up, just consider how much that Devoti would have been if they hadn't been aware RS were coming to market as well, dwell on that for a moment.

Graeme i agree with you and we had moved on, but Craiggo and Blue one seem to wanted to continue an arguement!  I am over it dont worry but no doubt they will want to drag it on.

I dont want RS to give up, i really dont.  My point has always been around some of the messages they deliver.  I understand i may not be of the majority, but as the point was raised about Newbies, do we really want them fed questionable statements or actually handled with affection and decency?  Just a thought.

As for the Zero price point, i happen to know that when Rodney and Devoti had set their price RS were keeping a show deal under wraps.  In fact i think Suntouched released their show deal before RS.

A for facebook it is very different to a forum; subjects have a short life where as on a forum topics can remain active for years

Don't get me wrong, I like it here partly because all you old chaps share a sophisticated degree of humor. Look at GRF's post about lily pads on the swimming topic. My Mazda forum members would think a 'lily pad'
was for sending messages to celebrities. What happened to that young chap who wrote on his sig. 'If you cant carry it....dont sail it"......."Stupid boy Pike"......

Luca, bless him, had already released a price point into the public domain quite a bit before the big unveil 3 hours before the Dinghy Exhibition.

You just needed the contacts to point you in the right spot (google translate and XE.com helped too.)

Those of us here who knew chose not to gob off- and frankly, the pricing of both the Aero and Zero are pretty darn good, no need to sh*tfight over pennies when the savings in pounds were stacking up from both options.

Until it is claimed that one is significantly cheaper than the other of course as happened over on SA until I put them right.
