Thanks Duncan- and I do understand, if I sailed there I wouldn't want anything bigger than a Laser- can't make my mind up whether I could stretch to a 4.7 or do the sensible thing and stick with the RC...

Duncan.  Don't worry, wasn't jumping on you with my Devoti tinted glasses.  Maybe it's just me, but I am very tall in the body but short in the legs and had never considered it as a problem.  But I understand we can't all be the same, I enjoyed not kneeling down today in the light winds. Albeit I had my arse handed to me by the other zero in both races!

Your back may be long compared to your legs Russ, but given that your legs are only about 18" long it still doesn't really make you tall!

It's true Paul, without going wildly off on a tangent.  I have a problem with bikes! I have a 29" inside leg but am 5'9/10. Which means I would be nearly 6ft with normal legs.  It means I struggle to get a bike short enough and long enough.  Bloody nightmare.

You and I are the same height and I had noticed that you ride bikes a size or two smaller than I do and I did wonder why. Now I know.
