The video of the week this week is of proper racing, the last Tuesday night club race at Hythe, thought I ought to record it for posterity the way I'm currently deteriorating it might be my last...

The kite never achieved any great popularity internationally. I don't think many folk come ashore in San Francisco for example wishing they had a kite out there... Think I've heard more than one describe conditions out there as very scary.

The AC (kite) was an off-shoot class Mark...  The IC has always been kite-less.  

How the DC fits in is probably best left to Jim or AndyP to explain...

It does look amazing, and I have nothing but admiration for those who sail such boats, but I confess it doesn't really make me want to go out and do it. Certainly not racing.
