Nah, don't think so, last time we tried we broke it, she's a bit long in the tooth and knackered for that event now much as I have a feeling half way round I'm going to wish we had, so what's the betting then? Will you make the bridge before us, what will you have an hour start? I need to go and look at the SI's I can't remember when they let the 'special needs' fleet start..

Meanwhile I'll see how our secret kite plans are cooking, how do you think that dangly pole thing will work with a hornet kite and washerwoman b14bag.

Seriously for a moment we do understand and it is a bit of a long haul if you are in a strange boat.  The IOS race is hardly typical.  On the other hand ... 'kneewrecker' might be on to something there.  Eeerm has GRF still got a loan Icon one ?  .. just wondering

I still want to borrow 03 as discussed but having problems getting to pick it up at weekends, i will phone/ e mail. I also would not want to sail in such a public event without having got to grips with the basics. With all the great Icon publicity you are getting at the moment the last thing you want is a muppet performance in the public eye!!!

Forecast is 13-22 Knots perfect Tasar icon shoot out weather, will we better our third in a tasar a number of years ago??
