Clearly he hasn't met the bread knife.. I wouldn't have posted that personally, not and expect to survive it.

![]() Jenna & Dad took it out tonight,(they have the Tasar) wind died and the EPS (with its soft sail) gave them a good shoeing.. Not that quick in very light conditions which is surprising. Edited by iGRF - 07 Aug 14 at 11:26pm |

That's a nice-looking sail on the EPS for a one-off. Who made it?

It's made by a local company called 'Bandit Sails'...
![]() They usually power Miracles to victory and more lately have been dallying with GP14ers though how that's going for them trying to wring pennies from the deeper reaches of GP14 sailors pockets, I don't expect them to be getting rich anytime soon. Neal Gibson Gibson Sails is what he calls himself. ![]() |

Will we be seeing an Icon at the Round Sheeppy event this weekend. Two tasars 90% certain to attend with current Forecast, would be an interesting comparison

Except they'll send the Tasars off half an hour before the Icons, because of that stupid RYA Handicap..
We were thinking of bringing the loan boat over, but at 969 it'll be in the fast handicap start along with RS800's so not much to race fairly against. Another example of PYAG idiocy ruining our day. Edited by iGRF - 28 Aug 14 at 9:01am |

There is indeed a good case to be made for lumping all hikers into separate starts to trapeze (OK, 'hiking aid') boats, or a hybrid system, rather than a pure PY split between starts/prize categories.
Needs more admin tho', and brings more opportunity for controversy. You'd need an intelligent, well-informed and organised race committee, which is by no means always the case. |

They don't do a bad job over at IOSSC, it's generally a well organised and run event, it's not their fault some mad men have been gerrymandering the handicap system.
