To be honest I think he's a very clever bloke. If you had the skills and determination to convince multiple big bucks sponsors to fund you to follow around the Laser fleet at all the world events then you'd be pretty happy with life and somehow this guy has managed it. I'd say the Muppets in all of this are the company representatives who've handed over cash to a no-hoper.

If they really have handed over any cash.... that's a lot of logos on that page, easily right clicked, sdave image as from their owners websites.
Having been involved with sponsorship in the past (pre-recession), that's a lot of deals he's converted.... so very well done if it's genuine. His background appears to be with Ogilvys, so who knows, perhaps his Linked In profile would be more telling about his networks and connections....
