According to SA, the price in the US is $6940 complete... at today's FX, that's less than £4200 - including the dealer's margin.
I don't know US prices for Lasers, but that's got to be there or thereabouts cheaper surely? Nice one.

Couldn't resist looking it up Price: $5,945.00 for a Laser Standard Race (= £3575 ish), probably no covers or trolly in that but I'm sure it's negotiable (isn't everything?) http://www.apsltd.com/c-4976-laser-laser-radial-laser-47.aspx BTW it seems a Radial Race cost more than a Standard Race at Price: $6,065.00 is that normal??? that's cheaper than I anticipated- anyway, I hope it doesn't disprove my intention for posting- that being the Aero looks like great value for money. God Bless America n' all that.

As pointed out earlier - US price of $6940 is ex sales tax. UK launch price is £4058.33 ex tax (£4870 inc VAT).
So the US price is a little more expensive, due to freight. People ordering boats seem very happy with the value - on both sides of the Pond! |

There was an Aero 5 racing at Gurnard SC last Sunday - it looked a bit like an Oppy
with the small sail, but it was in front of the standard sail Lasers in the same handicap class
