A couple of club mates went - experienced sailors - they said it was like nothing they had ever seen.  They were glad they weren't in the assy fleet and were amazed no one was seriously hurt.

Russ I was not trying to compare to your heroic deeds or the black cat! I was merely pointing out that it was the same system on the same day. I am sure the 62 knots recorded locally was a mere trifling breeze.
Well done by the way for turning out. I find it a bit far and a bit crowded there now. In fact I have lost heart with the series having done it since the beginning and done none of them this year.

There's some good rs300 footage on youtube from the stevie nicks. Plenty of capsizes in it.

What happened to the days when pretty much all videos were naked without a bit of Jean Michelle Jarre? I can't watch footage of Concorde in flight without hearing Oxygene Part 4...
