Sailing is for posh people

Cinzano and lemonade I seem to recall was the drink the Breadknife Mk1 used to demand. Or port and lemon, Gin and Tonic was reserved for the older generation, who also used to serve Sherry when you visited, even in the morning.

There are of course exceptions to most social observations, I trust your wife would not have snagged herself such a fine specimen of sailing godliness had she have been unfortunate enough to resemble a warthog munching on road kill.

Therefore please do raise a glass with her of that Irish liqueur and toast those of less blessed appearance than yourselves.... A bit like eating a bowl of rice whilst listening to Band Aid instead of another turkey sandwich, it will make you think of others at Yuletide.

Just a moment....are you saying that if I use Baileys to encourage young women into liaison, it will improve my chance of success? Is it more aphrodisiac than say vodka and lime, snowball or Babycham? Was my time resting my elbows in spilled coffee while watching my chosen one consume her Wimpey...in a bar of that name pointless? You young chaps are so lucky with your modern devices and underwear-slackening beverages. How I long for the return of those days when I consider how many shillings I wasted for no result.
