Surely you know Dave from your 100 days Jimbo?

Not sure who this Mr Orange chap is, but if there's a vague similarity in physical appearance he's one very lucky fellow…. well apart from being Mr Orange, he's the one who gets shot and bleeds out, torn apart by a web of lies, deceit, false loyalty and betrayal.

On the other hand, Mr Pink hides from the trouble, grabs the diamonds and legs it… smart man.

I've come to believe that the greater the emphasis on amateur sailing (and especially if the word corinthian is involved), then the further "up" the social scale the club is positioned.

Oh crikey, Bristol Corinthian Yacht Club - not much hope is there...

There's posh innit!

I refuse to listen to any comments on class from a man who markets ironing boards.

Funny I don't know many woolly liberal left leaning types in boats, why even the nicest sorts scream like mental banshees if you call for something like water at a mark and they don't think there is any..

Another reason not to sail a Solo, you meet even more shouty people, life is so much more pleasant sailing in your own bit of the fleet away from the hoi polloi and so it is in the rest of life, easy to be a left leaning liberal if you don't actually have to mix with them..

Tony Benn is really Viscount Stansgate but he relinquished his title in the 60's. His father was a labour peer I believe. Probably something to do with Lloyd George?

Conundrum: admit to being of the sheep-bothering persuasion, or having an unhealthy liking for canary-hued yachting footwear?

That not only looks like a dead ringer for yellow welly, the colour of the kite absolutely confirms it for me, definitely him.

I am sure Dave Gorringe will be really cheerful to be accused of being James. Or something

Didn't Jon get a hobbit hole under a layed-up Melges? I'm sure I saw some HP sauce on Facebook from that event.

Living the high life obviously...

We of course had a lake view penthouse apartment but mostly to persuade me that this was a "holiday" ("Camping" is Guide Camp - NOT a holiday) but so we could cook for ourselves in the World of the Carnivore...  And actually it was dead cheap.  And we slept in the car at a services on the journey.
