That's why people like me have jobs. Stronger, tougher, stiffer, cheaper. The holy grail of materials development. Always chasing it. Get the first three, means you can use less material, which makes things lighter and helps with the "cheaper".

However, while you might use less material, you have to pay the clever people like you who develop the stuff, so very difficult to make a hitec boat cheaper than a lowtec one, even if using half the materials. This is not to say we shouldn't be developing the materials and using them. After all, today's new wonder material is next week's normality!
