Mirror on top of car

   The Mirror suits roof racking really well, ie fairly light, two piece mast etc.  As a teenager I used to roof rack a Mirror on my mk1 Ford Escort. It helps to have a couple of helpers to lift the thing on the roof, and of course it's real important to pay a lot of attention to strapping/roping the thing down.

	Subject says it all. Can you put a Mirror on a roof rack? Obviously you can. I guess you can put anything on a roof rack if you put your mind to it. But is it safe to do so with a Mirror? (oh yes the car is a Toyota Avensis) Thanks
