And the combination of a GP genoa and a small child isn't going to work well...

Not sure I'll do any events this year (except the FOM). Weymouth sounds fun, but not sure we could manage or justify a 5 day event yet. There doesn't appear to be anything happening in the west, but if there is a ything in Kent, we might be able to do something.

That was my thinking when looking for something to teach my kids in, rejected the gp on exactly the grounds you cited,  I ended up with a miracle, which has turned our to be perfect for the task.

I am hoping to take in some of the miracle events this year  with my daughter and will be be signing up for the nationals after payday!

I am surprised no body mentioned a GP14. It is, really what they were built for. Also you can get a double floored boat for relatively cheap now which more or less come up dry.

3666, from Cardiff. Early 90's I think? There's a set of Alverbanks in quite a funky cloth (the same sort of squares in the cloth that spinnaker cloth has) and a Dolphin kite that looks barely used. Roll on the warm weather and the FOM!

Peaky,
Thats great news.  Sailing with your kids is simply the best sailing out there.  No matter if its in a bathtub, a miracle, Grad whatever.

Nice one mate.
