One thing I will say is the Merlin Class and Matt Biggs did a much better job of dealing with a similar situation.

The quote below is from P&B blog, linked to from the the news section on this very site and posted yesterday, care to put 2 and 2 together and decide what they are referring to? So as not to take anything out of context the link to the full article is below.... http://blog.pinbax.com/ Often commented on by our customers is that one of the advantages of working with the P&B team, is that unlike some of the UK firms making the headlines at the moment, not only does the sail development work happen on site in the Northampton based P&B loft but the sails are also made on site, in the UK, by the same team. This team also sails the dinghies giving instant access/ feedback and furthering the ability to develop and work closely with our customer(s) and understand their needs. This UK process also gives P&B the ability to measure to ISAF standard where we are registered for certain classes (exclusions being Fireballs and Merlin Rocket). The means the P&B can produce race legal sails avoiding any uneccessary ‘confusion’ at sailing events. Where this procedure is unavailable we can and do arrange for measurers to come in on site measuring the sails before delivery, keeping to our ethos of UK based work allied to strong customer service. |

A bit of irony there if you remember who Simon used to crew for.

They're referring to in-house certification whilst carefully avoiding mentioning that they are by no means the only loft that can provide the service... |

Nice Yachting World Dayboat for sale on Ebay if you like that sort of thing.
Sails looking a little tired though (but have been endorsed by a measurer) Check out the sail number...

Not knocking it, It does actually look like a well loved boat.
Do you think if you enquired with Speed Sails to make a new set for it they might think it a pi55(5) take?
