I don't think they've retracted their comment. It seems to be an Internet Explorer issue as the statement is still there in Chrome or my Ipad.

I viewed it last night on the iPad and today on the PC (using IE) it was gone ... seems if I view with Chrome or FF it is visible.

What's really wrong in all this is that antediluvian classes with their bullsh*t antiquated rules and refusal to adopt modern cloths are still winning prestigious events and to the mildy disinterested observer, all this post event chatter, other than it being good forum fodder, is just that, old wimmen chattering whilst they peel their sour grapes.

makes be glad to be totally crap and never have to worry about being compromised by a sponsor putting me in a difficult situation...

I can't help but feel a little sorry for the sailors who won on the water and the Fireball Class who all had the shine knocked off what was supposed to be a fun, yet respected event.
