Being tightfisted has a downside mind, when I checked this am at about 9.30 I was going upwind with the kite up - 3km in 30km of breeze. Quick sail change & it is back to 23km without any change to direction.

Looks like another site down tonight.
 
So far I managed to get across my ridge OKish. Just hope that I don't end up too far south of Gough Island during this crash........

don't know if it's possible to have a fish-in-the-road, burning stuff in half an old oil drum type of picket on a website, but if it's possible, than bl**dy suprised there ain't a bunch of striking frenchies around virtualregatta.com a fair bit of the time

Yep heading South looks like a good call RB.
If it turns out not to be as profitable as it looks it might be & we meet up again at the first Ice Gate having read your post in the Collision thread can I point out I will be on Stb & will probably have been for about 8 days by then Wink

Still can't get in. It gets stuck loading at either 0% or 50%.
 
Andy101, you have nothing to fear, I know my rules (I did actually side with the common view, just wasn't so sanctimonious about it).

Cancel my last comment, corridor has closed. Eyes shut crash tack onto Port and heading south again into a big hole but no real choice Ouch

Agreed - I crash tacked and dived South late this afternoon - pre 7:00pm site crash.  There was an RS400 in my way but I just ran it down.  With 380,000+ boats in the area it is just as well that the site doesn't support boat on boat rules and tactics.
 
 
 
 
What could possibly go wrong?
