Did we sail through a patch of weed?  Must have been the last wind update that did something, but i can't for the life of me see what.  I still think we are tactically in a better place than many, but time will tell.

EDIT: Some thing very strange is happening - Sparks is sailing 25 degrees higher than he should be given the wind direction in the quadrant i.e. wind direction 101 deg, Sparks heading 154 deg but angle of his boat to the wind is 79 deg.  Are you using your engine??

EDIT AGAIN: It's corrected itself.  The planets are back in their right places and my world is happy once more.  Interesting choice to hammer upwind though, given the longer range forecast

Things about to get interesting again on thursday, not sure if I can get south quite quickly enough to catch the low or more likely get dumped in a hole again!

And presumably that will be what the next month will be like, some of us flying along in 40 knots of breeze whilst others will be sitting in a hole waiting for the next front to catch up?

At the least holes should be a bit more short lived than the one Craggio spent a week in near Tenerife Wink

Yeah, but I managed a weeks package holiday in Playa de las Americas, while you'll be shivering in the falklands!
