Well I'm diving as south as I can now - I'd like ot get the polars - I think I might have been reaching arounf too much.  So low and slow for a while!

Well I'm sitting back and enjoying the sun, whilst steaming south at 14.1 knots - the fastest I've been to date. Woohoo.
Only ominous sign is that it looks like I'll be going upwind in 3 days time - not good.
 
I notice SimonG who is way out west is now the furthest south of any of us. He's basically sailed around us all.

Yes it is looking good for me out west but the plan does rely on a fast ride on an eastbound southern ocean low in order to cash in and that will be all about timing.

I have moved up 35k places overnight. What is daft is Craigo is off my Starboard bow and is near 100k in position, others are way off west and also in the 200k positions.

Now if the leaders are hugging the coast and in first place, there is nothing saying their is an amarda to the south of them.

Ignore the rankings (says me at 249k Cry).
I think it has been fairly well established that they are meaningless until we get to the Southern Oceans - at least I hope that is the case....
