   Well the day dawns, almost. I am sorry that I will not be there but my nurse needs a day off and there is not a trailer made that is strong enough to transport my Solo. I am sure that you will all have a jolly time. But.....please treat it as a wedding or some other occaision that brings a large family together. All family members anticipate the event with enthusiasim but that enthusiasim creates stress and that stress bubbles over into violence when Uncle Jack (after a few pints) calls Uncle Wills wife ugly. Eyes are blacked, blood is drawn and the local police cells are full. Please do not over excite yourselves!

Now to the important news. A representative of mine (or me in a false wig) will have a doping caravan parked at the back of the clubhouse. All sorts of goodies will be available from amphetamines to steroids. My particular speciality is blood for doping. If you wish to transfuse your blood please arrive early as we do not care to rush this operation. A wide variety of blood will be available taken from a selection of celebrities. Lance Armstrongs blood is proving particularly popular as it contains no additives (other than the ones added by himself). There are limited quantities of Ben Ainslie but in view of recent allegations we have withdrawn Jimmy Saville. For Finn  sailors vintage Cyril Smith could do the trick and I would recomend Paul Daniels to GRF....he may need the magic.

	We plan to be there by 10.30. Anyone interested in sailing an X1 or an X0 before the racing (esp Phantom, D1 and Finn sailors who will be just the right weight...and of course Broxbourne SC members - Rodney, will be good if you could extend the invite to our hosts?) you are very welcome. Chris

	Punk first, dan got a very good result on his py at the bloody Mary against very good phantom sailors much better than me. I don't know from the forum name who the other phantom sailor is...but I suspect I will when we meet up. I think that the icon in mikes hands with a ridiculously beneficial py might be there too. Then I reckon Rodney.

	With less than 24hrs to go shall we have a bit of a punt on who is going to come where and see if any of the guesses are closer than for the endeavour... Looking at the forecast my bet is: 1st Phantom 2nd Punk 3rd Icon But maybe Russ is a Ben ainslie in hidding!

	I was thinking of taking a bike trip down the lee and calling in, but I'm off to plymouth to play on the sea. Have fun! ( the road to Broxbourne is less rickety bridge/horror child, more like this) (ah wait, this is the right link)

	Make sure you get plenty of photos for us from afar to see how great the event went. I don't suppose you could rent a helicopter and film crew to stream the event?
