It's not that difficult to make what is known as a Mini Yacht, it's quite a bit more difficult to make a Class 5 mostly due to the wheel construction and even more difficult to make a Class 3 yacht due to the areo mast and the fact that they are massive.

Would it beat Hydroptere?  I doubt it, though maybe round a tight course...
