They are/were part of an arsenal of weaponery for ironic ridicule that had to be occasioned in the early forum pimping battles for Kitesurfing supremacy on the inter web, hence the persona you were first greeted with, that has softened considerably over recent years, however I still have a legacy of hilarious stuff accumulated from the days before cloud, youtube, flikr, photobucket style hosting all on my FTP site.

Nowadays it's just easy to google stuff and hit images.

... I cannot be the only one that worries about the 'full collection' of photos on GRF's hard drive ? I suspect we have only been shown a few of the more 'acceptable' ones from his presumably extensive collection.   With regard to the Blaze ones - well they have cleaned up their act a lot since those photos when GRF was with us .... and now I see here what his influence has already done to the otherwise rather staid EPS stalwarts !
